Felicitas has always been fascinated by contrasting sentiments such as intimacy and solitude, anxiety and ease, private and public. Her work explores the grey areas and tensions between those. The blue hour, the twilight between day and night, has been a reoccurring motive in her photographic work. When there’s neither daylight nor complete darkness, the material world becomes indefinite.
The mind can slow down and find rest in the transition. Searching for more freedom in playing with the physicality and disembodiment of her surroundings, Felicitas has moved on to explore this ‘non-time’ through drawings.
