Marika was born in Grosseto, Italy and started her classical dance education at “Scala Di Milano” in 2003. She Continued her Dance education in “Accademia Nazionale Di Danza” Rome and graduated in 2015 from Codarts, Rotterdam.
In 2015/14 she worked with Eddie Oroyan and Rakesh Sukesh during the festival Zurich Tanzt 2015. She performed in the “Allegory of the painted Woman” by Alexis Blake in Netherlands and Belgium and did her internship in Gotra for the production "Charlie Goes".
In 2016/15 she became a member of Theater Aachen for the Opera “Au Monde” and the musical “West Side Story” for the season 2015-2016 while she was cooperating with the artist Alexis Blake for the pieces “We Will Not Be Moved” performed during the Triennale Art Milano 2016 and “Allegory of a painted Woman” performed the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam by Alexis Blake.
After Theater Aachen she started freelancing with Gotra as a member of the company for the Production of “PANDORA” and "FRONTIER" performed with Kenzo Kusuda. In that year she also took part of the piece of Olivia Grandvilles “ Battailles” during the Cango Festival, Florence.
In 2017 she was part of “(N)EMOBODY” the new production of GOTRA/JOOST VROUENRAETS, she also took part in “FAUST” performed in Opera di Firenze-OF choreographed by Michael Keegan-Dolan“ and “Blink of Liberation” choreographed by Daniele Ninarello in Cango, Florence.
In 2018 she continued dancing as a freelance dancer for amongs others, GOTRA|Joost Vrouenraets production [N]EMO BODY.
